Queen Sheba heard about King Solomon and his fame and fortune and wisdom that Solomon possessed so she went to listen to him speak and fine out for herself if what she heard was true. so she went to his kingdom and made several trip as did king Solomon. finally king asked her to stay at his house for awhile, but the made truce that the kind would not take her by force (virginity) and the king replied as to say as long as you do not steal from my house. well one evening the king prepared a feast to make the queen thirsty at night and as the queen searched for water the king "found her stealing water" so the truce was off and the slept together result in a son (Menelik).

in Ethiopia at this time women were not aloud to "know men" lost virginity so she was not able to still be queen but that was fine to her as long as the thrown stayed in her blood line and it did starting with Menelik.

this story in significant because it give the nation a starting point of king starting with Menelik this is important because I'm sure many Ethiopian can related to this part of history.
